Job Title:        Storage Engineer

Location:        Dallas, TX

Duration:       6 Months Contract

Job Description:   

• Hands-on experience on IBM XIV and HP 3PAR storage arrays, HP Store Once and Brocade DCX switches
• Configure and manage storage pools, CPGs, Virtual volumes & snapshots
• Perform Capacity and Performance management
• Hands-on experience on Adaptive and Dynamic optimization
• Develop tiering policies for all hosts and configure as per the standards
• Design & implement SAN connectivity (single & dual chassis) with Fiber channel switches to overcome any single point of failure for all hosts
• Experience in performance tuning of 3PAR system and storage based replication
• Experience in tuning virtual volumes
• Exposure to DR implementation and management
• Experience in Storage and Fabric microcode upgrade activities
• Strong expertise in Configuring SAN Fabric (Brocade 48K & DCX switches) and troubleshooting fabric related events
