Job Title: CMDB ARCHITECT

Location: Sleepy Hollow, NY

This position coordinates a global organization, driving compliance to processes that ensure stability, security, and control of the production configuration management database (CMDB).  
Key Responsibilities
·       Engineer, administer, and maintain policy, process, and procedure documentation service management processes for change and configuration management
·       Serve as the communications leader in promoting the Change and Configuration processes and benefits of effective Change processes and use of the CMDB
·       Manage a continual improvement plan for change & configuration management processes and technologies
·       Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, engaging the right stakeholders at the right times and educating them on change scope, risk and impact
·       Communication with senior IT stakeholders to understand the CMDB structure requirements
·       Collaboration among various IT teams to ensure Discovery and Service Mapping is effective
·       Ensure data quality and integrity of the service asset and configuration repository, with an emphasis on reflecting real-time state of the configuration items
·       Engage Senior Stakeholders for key CI relationships and ownership information
·       Define the structure of the configuration management system, including CI types, naming conventions, attributes and relationships
·       Identify and define the service assets to be designated as configuration items, and support CI class owners in defining CI baselines
·       Experience leveraging MID Servers for integration and automation
·       Collaborate with System Administrators and ServiceNow Support concerning strategies and technical aspects of platform upgrades
·       Define technology and integration requirements.
·       Identify critical success factors and develop/report on KPIs that adequately measure success
·       Establish strong rapport with clients, keeping both internal and external stakeholders informed of progress on a consistent basis
·       Integrate operational procedures with supporting teams including service desk, cyber security, infrastructure, PMO, and more
·       Manage the day-to-day activities of the processes; update operating procedures to support the activities as needed
·       Provide guidance and facilitate communications with Project teams and ServiceNow Architects and Developers throughout the effort
·       to ensure project success and added value
·       Provide execution guidance to the PMO on the delivery of technology projects
·       Provide vendor oversight for change and configuration management processes and functions for all vendors delivering technology solutions
·       Document complex technical concepts in a business consumable way
·       Able to demonstrate detailed understanding of public cloud platforms

Preferred Qualifications
·       ServiceNow Implementation Certification
·       Experience in Pharma industry
·       Understanding of a broad range of technologies at the architecture level and at a business process/impact level. These include but are not limited to core network technologies, systems for enterprise work process, mobility, data management and cloud-based computing
·       Must also be able to effectively communicate technical concepts to executives and general audiences
·       Program Management
·       Vendor Management
·       Presenting complex technical concepts in business consumable language
·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
·       Proven track record in strategic technology planning, execution and policy development
·       Leadership orientation and respect for discretion. Must be able to build consensus
