Position: Scala Developer
Location:  Houston, TX
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
 
 
Job Description:
 
1.            Distributed application development experience
2.            Extensive knowledge of Object oriented programming concepts and design
3.            REST API design and architecture
4.            Experience with performance optimization (both memory and cpu) and scaling
5.            Some knowledge/Experience with functional programming
6.            Some knowledge/Experience with Cloud deployment and cloud concepts
7.            Working in an Agile environment.
Must have:
- Scala Programming language
- Akka
- sbt
Nice to have:
 
- Google cloud platform and Kubernetes
- Docker
- Coding for Math and statistical problems
- Light bend stack
