12225 - Business Analyst - Tallahassee, FL​

Start Date: ASAP
 
Type: Temporary Project
 
Estimated Duration: 5 months with possible extension
 
Remote or Onsite: On location at the Client's site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work.
 
Description: Our Client, a government agency, is looking for a Business Analyst in Tallahassee, FL.
 
Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing specifications as well as, overall planning and management of projects;
• Meet with leadership to provide status reports on a weekly basis and monthly written reports which will include accomplishments, areas of concern, and recommended solutions;
• Ensure technical direction and standards are being followed;
• Develop project plans and measure actual progress against the plans;
• Assure that project documentation includes the project plans, budgets, risk plans, communication plans, change control logs, and reports;
• Manage project risk through comprehensive mitigation assessment and planning techniques;
• Obtain sponsor approval for changes to scope, budget, and schedule that effect the critical path.

Requirements:

• Experience producing technical documentation related to requirements, specifications, design, process and data flow, testing, and training (5+ years);
• Experience with data consolidation, editing, and normalizing rules (5+ years);
• Experience scheduling technical integrations involving multiple resource teams;
• Experience organizing and facilitating training and/or technical presentations;
• Experience facilitating business and technical analysis, design, and planning meetings;
• Knowledge of State of Florida rules and regulations;
• Experience with Microsoft Project;
