Title : AWS Analytics Cloud Architect
Location : Chicago,IL
* AWS Professional Certification (Solution Architect, SysAdmin or Developer) is must.
* Deep domain expertise of AWS Analytics cloud solutions (i.e. EMR, RedShift, S3, Windows and Linux IaaS, SAP, BCDR, Security, Management, Storage, Networking, OSS, containers and Infra as a code technologies), breadth of technical experience, and technical aptitude to learn and adjust to new technologies and cloud trends required
* Experience and understanding of large-scale Analytics deployments in enterprise-wide environments required
Ability to collaborate with the information management development team and assist them in the migration process via best practices and thought leadership
* 5+ years of success in consultative/complex technical sales and deployment projects (where necessary, managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solution/projects)
* Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with senior IT executives and growing data services in large or highly strategic accounts
* Acknowledged for driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
* Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences (Senior Executives, IT management and developers)
* Prior work experience in a Consulting/Architecture position with a software / services company
Skillset/Background for architect (Need to be hands-on) – Onsite (Chicago)
• 15+ years of overall IT experience focus on analytics and related platforms
• 8+ years of Cloud experience across AWS, GCP
• Experience in migrating very large data sets from on-prem to AWS
* Cloud Infrastructure Automation involving Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation, etc
* Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc)
* Experience installation/setup of Monitoring tools - ELK, Splunk, NewRelic, AppDynamics, etc
* Good understanding of Cloud Security principles - AWS Security, Network, Infrastructure, Platform security.
* Hands-on experience in Containerization - Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
* CloudFoundry experience a big-plus.
