Java Developer Chicago, IL 12 Months Experience : 5+ years of experience in Analysis, Design and Development of applications/API’s using Node, RESTFUL API and Cloud Technology and Skills : Mandatory: - Should be proficient in design and development in NodeJS
- Strong in developing services with API strategy /RESTFUL services
- Familiarity with cloud native platforms such as AWS (preferably) or any cloud native platform such as Azure
- Should have expertise in Agile delivery model or running in a startup mode
- Should have the an analytical mindset and problem-solving aptitude
- Ability to work independently, adapt to new technologies and challenges
Nice to have : - HTML 5 , CSS and JavaScript, Responsive web design
- JavaScript libraries/frameworks such as React or Angular
- Experience with Relational databases such as MYSQL and non-relational databases
- AWS data lakes
- GO – The general purpose programming language, GO with AWS
- Experience with Micro Services architecture and development skills
- Experience with Test Driven Development
- Familiarity with Agile project tool such as Jira, Confluence and GITHUB
- Skills on DevOps, along with knowledge on containers such as Docker and its orchestration platforms
Communication Skills: - Strong communication skills - verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Should be able to independently interact and work with clients, end users, business and technology team
