Positions: Java Developer with Hadoop and Scala Exp
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: Long term

Job Description:

• Distributed application development experience
• Extensive knowledge of Object oriented programming concepts and design
• REST API design and architecture
• Experience with performance optimization (both memory and cpu) and scaling
• Some knowledge/Experience with functional programming
• Some knowledge/Experience with Cloud deployment and cloud concepts
• Working in an Agile environment.

 
Nice to have:

• Scala Programming language
• Akka
• sbt
• Google cloud platform and Kubernetes
• Docker
• Coding for Math and statistical problems
• Lightbend stack
