Sr.DevOps Engineer Location: Sleepy Hollow, NY(Need 10+yrs-CTH)

Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: Sleepy Hollow, NY

Type: CTH (Contract to Hire)
 
 
 
Job requirements/Skill Set:
·               Expertise in CI/CD Tool Chain i.e ( GitHub, JenKins, Artifactory, Ansible or Similar )
·               Deep technical and working knowledge of the AWS ecosystem including tools, SDKs, IDE Toolkits, and Command Line Tools
·               Working knowledge of Chef / Puppet / Ansible / Salt to create standardized and scalable infrastructure • Experience with containers, container orchestration, and CI/CD. Bonus for work with Rancher and Spinnaker
·               An understanding of performance limitations in the cloud as it relates to storage, networking, and instance types
·               Ability to collaborate with internal teams to proactively develop scalable solutions
·               Self-motivated with a proven track record of success designing and deploying infrastructure in AWS
·               Hands on programing skills in any of the following: Powershell, Python, Java, Node.js, Ruby, Bash, Perl, .NET or Scala
·               Hands on experience with CloudFormation
·               Experience on Containers OpenShift / Docker
·               Have deep software development knowledge with respect cloud architecture, design patterns and programming
·               Experience in implementing DevOps practices such as infrastructure as code, continuous integration and automated deployment (Jenkins, Maven or similar)
·               Drive to learn the very latest in cloud web services technologies and apply them to challenging problems that our clients face.
·               BS level or higher technical degree; Computer Science or Engineering
·               7+ years of an application programming and development experience
3+ years working with AWS
