Job Details:

Job Title: Java UI Developer

Location: Princeton, New Jersey (Need Only Locals FTF interview is must)

Duration: Long term

Primary Skills: Angular JS, JQuery, JS Grid, JavaScript, Kendo, HTML, CSS, JBOSS/Tomcat, SQL, REST API, Agile, AWS

 

Description:

The ideal candidates will be responsible for:

·         Bring knowledge of UI design and expertise working with Angular JS or equivalents. Will be the go to person for Angular on the team.

·         This is a hands on development and coding role with iterative builds incorporating the latest design/enhancement change.

·         Development is done using Eclipse/Jbuilder and does not use any other IDE tools.

·         Design/build substantial parts of a new module of the existing HTML5/JavaScript application using React/JQuery/HTML5 and Cytoscape.JS.

·         Able to switch between multiple tasks as needed working on Java 1.8 middle tier, MapDB and other technologies.

 

Qualifications:

·         Excellent working knowledge of various JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as Angular, JQuery, JS Grid.

·         Experience debugging complex JavaScript code to identify and fix defects/bugs.

·         Extensive understanding of JavaScript optimization and performance tuning to minimize page load times.

·         Deep knowledge of latest developments/Frameworks relating to JavaScript development and the ability to evaluate them.

·         Knowledge or familiarity working with JBOSS/Tomcat.

·         Experience with Kendo is a must.

·         Experience working with at least one RDBMS system and familiarity with SQL.

·         High level of technical knowledge and awareness of software development concepts, methodologies and frameworks.

·         Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies as they are adapted by the team.

·         Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills with the ability to fill in on occasions when more senior members of the team are not available.

·         Experience implementing Cloud and/or Hybrid-Cloud solutions. Preferably AWS.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

·         A Bachelor's degree with extensive coursework in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is necessary.

·         Angular JS, JQuery, JS Grid, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JBOSS/Tomcat, SQL, REST API, Agile, AWS
