Positions: Senior Level Full Stack Java Developer
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: Long term

Visa: No H1B/No OPT-EAD

Job Description:

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience is required.
• Keys to the job are strong Spring expertise, Microservices, and Cloud background.
• Demonstrated hands-on development with Java8, Spring and related technologies like Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Batch, Spring cloud and ORM frameworks.
• Hands on experience in RDBMS - preferably Oracle, NoSQL databases – preferably CouchBase
• Knowledge of working with Rabbit MQ, Apache Tomcat, Microservices architecture, Angular JS, REST, SOAP and GIT.
• Experience leveraging open source technologies and developing with service-oriented architecture
• Experience with AS400 DB2 database. A plus not needed.
• Hands on experience in Angular JS
• Expertise building SaaS offerings on public Cloud Platforms (e.g.: Azure, AWS) using platform services and integrating with "behind the firewall” on-premise deployments
• Expertise architecting and developing highly reliable, fault-tolerant distributed applications with focus on performance and scale
• Expertise in DevOps practices like Automation, Configuration Management, Continuous Integration & Delivery, and Monitoring
• Solid understanding of software engineering frameworks, tools, and processes

 
Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Netflix API including Eureka, Ribbon, Hystrix, and Zuul
• Work experience in Agile and DevOps technologies tools like JIRA, Jenkins, Stash, Confluence, git, etc.
• Development skills in Node.js
