Role :: 1 Role :: UX Designer Location: Cleveland, Ohio Duration: 6 months + Visa :: All Expect H1b Interview: Skype The UX Designer will support our Global Blending project. The project's goal is to create a standard process at blending facilities globally to streamline order processes, reduce time to market, and to enable the order creation and fulfilment processes to be easily managed & maintained. The designer will work with a team of two other designers as well as IT and business teams supporting the project.
Strategy & Planning - Collaborate with business partners to understand needs and define requirements for websites and software applications.
- Oversee usability and design research for each project using techniques like contextual inquiry, competitive analysis, usability testing, etc. to understand usage problems.
- Support UX strategy and process definition within the company.
Acquisition & Deployment
- Translate business and user needs into usable, visually compelling, and technically sound interactive solutions, utilizing multiple technologies.
- Communicate concepts using a variety of methods (i.e., wireframes, mockups, prototypes) to help stake holders envision proposed designs.
- Conduct heuristic evaluation and task-based usability tests to validate design solutions.
- Help establish and maintain UI consistency across designed systems.
Operational Management
- Support development team through iterative lifecycle of design implementation.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, engineering and customer support on the implementation, training, and support of design solutions.
Technical Experience/Skills Required:
Knowledge & Experience
- 2+ years IT and/or Business experience.
- 2+ years of UX design.
- Basic understanding of Field and Usability testing.
- Understanding of responsive web design concepts and applications.
- Experience communicating concepts using a variety of methods (i.e., wireframes, mockups, prototypes) to help stakeholders, envision proposed designs.
- A portfolio demonstrating breadth and creativity and proven experience in telling stories, building UI models, generating detailed wire frames, developing prototypes and delivering comprehensive specifications. Please indicate your specific roles and contributions for each project submitted as part of the portfolio.
- Understanding of standard expected interfaces and basic user behaviors.
- Hands-on experience working with customers to build and formulate business requirements.
Technical Experience/Skills Preferred:

Role :: 2 Role :: UX/UI Designer Location :: Chicago, IL Duration :: 6 Months Interview :: Phone and Skype Senior Designer - Do you have an excellent eye for design, a great imagination, well-organized, good-natured, dedicated, flexible and passionate, & bring an advanced understanding of visual and experience design, typography, composition, and color theory?
- Solid understanding of the digital landscape, including everything from ecommerce websites, immersive and personalized online experiences to online campaigns, social media and mobile.
- Advanced command of standard design and layout applications (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and HTML and style sheets.
- Competency with Flash Action Scripting, video editing (e.g. FinalCut Pro), or motion graphics (e.g. After Effects).
- Understanding of atomic or module-based design
- Experience designing for content management systems
- A strong sense of independence and able to work with a team.
- Design mood boards, comps (with and without wireframes), concept sketches, presentation decks and storyboards under minimal direction of the project's creative lead.
Senior UX Designer - Prior experience in UI design for mobile devices a plus
- 3-5 years of UX/UI design experience
- Working in a fast-paced Agile design process
- Working with rapid prototyping techniques
- Ability to start from sketched ideas and take it all the way through detailed design documentation
