Installing WebSphere Application Server (WAS) on various platforms
Architect WebSphere cells, clusters and nodes.
Deploying applications
- Manually
- Understanding application resource bindings
- Understanding deployment descriptors (Application.xml and Web.xml)
- Automatically using Jython
Experience in the CI/CD processes and should have the ability to implement new tools and processes in CI/CD pipelines.
Strong scripting experience with languages like ANT, Jython, Python, and Unix shell scripting to support WebSphere automation.
Experience with Amazon Ec2 and the CLI for automating deployments is a plus. | Additional Skills: | As an CICD DevOps Automation Tech Analyst this member will work within the Application Support team and the Digital Development team to automate Digital Code deployments and will work integrally and define our deploy automation approach to support our initiatives. Responsibilities includes Act as key point of contact for the Digital Development team to automation all consumer deployments.
