Job Description:

We are looking for a highly capable machine learning engineer to optimize our machine learning systems.

You will be evaluating existing machine learning (ML) processes, performing statistical analysis to resolve data set problems, and enhancing the accuracy of our AI Softwares predictive automation capabilities.

To ensure success as a machine learning engineer, you should demonstrate solid data science knowledge and experience in a related ML role.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, or a related field. Master’s degree in computational linguistics, data analytics, or similar will be advantageous.

At least two years’ experience as a machine learning engineer. Advanced proficiency with Python, Java, and R code writing.

Extensive knowledge of ML frameworks, libraries, data structures, data modeling, and software architecture. In-depth knowledge of mathematics, statistics, and algorithms.

Superb analytical and problem-solving abilities. Great communication and collaboration skills. Excellent time management and organizational abilities.

Job Description

The Network Security Engineer will serve as a subject matter expert for services and solutions supporting the network security projects. The Consultant will help clients gain insight and context to their complex network security environments and provide regression testing services and technology recommendations to assess, improve, and build infrastructure, processes and policies in order to meet the client's needs.

This position will be based remotely to begin with and post Covid-19 will be either at Chicago or Washington DC, USA, and will be required to work closely with client and UST Global/CyberProof stakeholders. This position will report to the Project Manager and Program Administrator.

Key Responsibilities for the Guardium SME (Engineer/Architect)

· Define a communication plan for all impacted areas and SDLC Environments.

· Review list of technical partners.

· Review list of secured ports and change management procedures.

· Review procedures to understand transition to secured ports.

· Work with customer teams and impacted applications to determine the schedule of testing.

· Coordinate testing between partners.

· Deploy changes via current SDLC processes.

· Execute the communication strategy through all SDLC Phases.

· Understanding network architecture TCP/IP, LAN/WAN design, static and dynamic routing protocols, NAT, ACLs, etc.

· Understand network security, design, configurations, ports, protocols or information security operations.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

· Minimum 7+ years client-facing experience working on designing and implementing complex network security solutions including data security components listed above

· Experience delivering complex solutions on time, successfully

· Experience providing consultative guidance on solutions with ability to scope and develop level of effort

· Experience deploying platforms for an enterprise, and knowledge on key factors to consider when planning the deployment

· Strong fundamental understanding of technical security solutions and how they address customer risk exposure and solve key use cases

· Certifications below are desired and not limited to the following:

o CISSP

o CISM / CISA / CRISC

o GIAC (GSEC)

· Outstanding written and verbal communication

· Proactive and self-motivated mindset

· Ability to work effectively, add value as a team member for the practice discipline
