Job Description

 

Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior AI Architect with strong BFSI (Banking, Financial Services & Insurance) domain expertise to lead enterprise AI transformation initiatives. The role focuses on designing scalable AI/ML and Generative AI solutions that support core banking, risk, compliance, fraud detection, customer analytics, and regulatory use cases. The candidate must combine deep technical architecture skills with strong understanding of financial industry processes and regulations.

 

Key Responsibilities

1.AI Strategy & Architecture

• Define AI roadmap aligned with banking/financial business objectives.
• Identify AI use cases across retail banking, corporate banking, lending, risk, fraud, and compliance.
• Establish AI architecture standards within regulated environments.

2. AI/ML Solution Architecture

• Design end-to-end ML pipelines for credit risk modeling, fraud detection, AML, and customer analytics.
• Architect scalable AI platforms on cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Ensure high availability, security, and compliance with financial regulations.

3. Machine Learning Development

Design LLM-based solutions for:

• Intelligent chatbots for banking customers
• Document summarization (KYC, loan documents, policies)
• Compliance assistance and knowledge retrieval
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) for secure enterprise data usage.

4. MLOps & Deployment

• Implement CI/CD pipelines for AI/ML solutions.
• Design model monitoring, drift detection, and retraining strategies.
• Utilize containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ensure reliable production deployment of AI systems.

5. Cloud & Infrastructure

• Architect AI solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Leverage cloud-native AI services and data platforms.
• Ensure scalability, cost optimization, and high availability.

6. MLOps & Production Deployment

• Implement CI/CD for AI models.
• Monitor model drift, bias, and performance.
• Ensure scalable deployment using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native tools.

7. Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Operations, Product, and IT teams.
• Provide technical leadership across AI initiatives.
• Mentor data scientists, ML engineers, and architects.

 

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT/Architecture with 5+ years in AI/ML solutions.
• Strong experience in BFSI domain (Banking preferred).
• Strong experience in designing enterprise AI solutions.
• Hands-on expertise in Python and SQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Proven experience with MLOps and production AI deployments.

 

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI.
• Knowledge of vector databases
• Experience with NLP, computer vision, or reinforcement learning.
• Familiarity with responsible AI, governance, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience in regulated industries Banking
• Experience with credit risk modeling, fraud detection, AML systems.
• Knowledge of core banking systems and financial data platforms.
• Experience with vector databases and LLM-based enterprise solutions.
• Familiarity with responsible AI and model validation frameworks.

• Ability to lead technical discussions and decision-making.
