Role Summary:

 

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP PO/PI & SAP CPI Consultant to lead the design, development, and governance of SAP integration landscapes.

The role requires deep expertise in SAP Process Integration / Process Orchestration (PI/PO) and SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), with the ability to drive hybrid and cloud-based integration strategies across SAP and non-SAP systems.

 

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory Technical Skills

• 10+ years of SAP integration experience
• Strong expertise in SAP PI/PO (7.x) and SAP CPI
• In-depth knowledge of:
• IDoc, RFC, BAPI, Proxy, SOAP, REST, OData
• Message mappings
• Experience with S/4HANA and ECC integrations

 

Integration & Technical Knowledge

• XML, XSD, WSDL, JSON, XPath, XSLT
• API management fundamentals
• Error handling, performance optimisation, and monitoring
• Transport and lifecycle management across landscapes

Cloud & Modern Integration (Preferred)

• SAP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management, Open Connectors – if applicable)
• Experience migrating interfaces from PI/PO to CPI

 

Key Responsibilities

Integration Design & Architecture

• Lead end-to-end integration design using SAP PI/PO and SAP CPI for SAP and non-SAP applications
• Define integration patterns such as B2B, A2X, event-driven and API-led integrations
• Design scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant architectures for hybrid landscapes
• Drive PO/PI to CPI migration strategies and execution

 

SAP PI/PO Responsibilities

• Design and develop interfaces using:
• IDocs, RFCs, Proxies, SOAP, REST, File and sFTP
• Configuration and optimisation of Integration Directory and interface monitoring
• Performance tuning and troubleshooting of PI/PO systems
• Manage transports, versioning, and interface dependencies

 

SAP CPI Responsibilities

• Design and build integration flows using SAP Integration Suite (CPI)
• Work with:
• OData, REST, SOAP, SFTP, S/4HANA and SAP ATTP
• Content modifiers, value mappings, message mappings
• Handle security artefacts: OAuth2, certificates, keystore, user roles
• Set up monitoring, logging, error handling, and alerting in CPI

 

Stakeholder & Delivery Management

• Work closely with business, functional, BASIS, security, and SAP functional teams
• Translate business requirements into technical integration solutions
• Support cutover, hypercare, and production support activities
• Provide technical estimates, risk assessments, and solution walkthroughs
