Job Title: Java Tech Lead / Solution Architect
Location: Wilmington, DE (Onsite – 5 Days)
Domain: Banking & Financial Services (BFS)

 

Note:- Candidate must have recent hands on experience and client is looking Application Development experience with Architecture design.

 

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Tech Lead / Solution Architect with strong hands-on application development experience and expertise in architecture design within the Banking & Financial Services domain. The ideal candidate should have recent hands-on coding experience, deep knowledge of modern Java-based enterprise applications, and experience designing scalable, secure, and cloud-enabled solutions.

AWS cloud experience is mandatory, and exposure to AI/ML-based solutions or integrations will be considered a strong plus.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of enterprise-grade Java applications and distributed systems.
• Architect scalable, secure, high-performance solutions for BFS applications.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to define technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership across application architecture, microservices, APIs, cloud adoption, and modernization initiatives.
• Participate in hands-on development, code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native applications.
• Drive best practices around system design, security, scalability, resiliency, and CI/CD automation.
• Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams for AWS deployment strategies and cloud optimization.
• Mentor development teams and guide technical decision-making across projects.
• Evaluate emerging technologies including AI-driven capabilities and recommend suitable adoption strategies.

 

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in Java application development.
• Strong recent hands-on experience with:
• Java 8/11/17
• Spring Boot
• Microservices Architecture
• REST APIs
• Kafka or Messaging systems
• SQL/NoSQL databases
• Proven experience in Solution Architecture and Application Design.
• Strong AWS cloud experience (EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, etc.).
• Experience designing enterprise applications within Banking/Financial Services domain.
• Expertise in system integration, scalability, security, and performance tuning.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to AI/ML integrations, Generative AI, or AI-enabled enterprise solutions.
• Experience with event-driven and distributed architectures.
• TOGAF or cloud certifications are a plus.
