Senior Product Owner - Alternative Assets Platform

We are looking to hire a Senior Product Owner with 10+ years of financial services and consulting experience to lead a product development and execution initiative focused on modernizing the Alternative Assets lifecycle for a premier financial services organization. You will be responsible for realizing the product vision, prioritizing the backlog, and driving feature delivery from concept to launch, ensuring the application integrates with enterprise systems. This role requires domain knowledge in capital markets operations, alternative investments, and wealth management data practices to deliver value to our wealth advisors and operational teams. The candidate should be prepared to be in person few times a week in New York metropolitan region.

 

Qualifications

Mandatory Qualifications

• Product Ownership Experience: Product Owner or Product Manager in financial services or wealth management technology.
• Alternative Assets Domain Expertise in the mechanics of alternative investments (e.g., Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Real Estate), including the investment lifecycle.
• Operational Process Knowledge: Understanding of the Capital Calls process, 3rd Party Transfer Agents interactions, and data management processes such as Fund Master and Fund On-boarding.
• Cloud Development Foundation familiarity with cloud, preferably Azure services and experience guiding development teams building cloud-native or cloud-enabled applications.
• Enterprise Integration: Proficiency in modeling, understanding and documenting Enterprise Business Flows.

 

Desired Qualifications

• Alternates Platform experience with Alts-Bridge or equivalent platform servicing Wealth Advisors or Asset Management.
• Client Data Management defining requirements related to data captured by Wealth Advisors.
• Agile Proficiency familiarity and experience with practices.
• Communication: Ability to bridge communication gaps between business stakeholders, compliance, and engineering/architecture teams.
• Data Analysis Skills: Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, data lineage, and reporting requirements related to alternative asset data.
• Stakeholder Management: Experience managing globally distributed stakeholder groups and development teams.
