Position 1:

Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Data Cloud Developer – ITC 1

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Data Cloud Developer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate is a certified Salesforce professional with deep experience in designing customer journeys, building marketing automations, and integrating external data into Salesforce Data Cloud.

This role will focus on delivering personalized, data-driven customer experiences by connecting diverse data sources, harmonizing customer profiles, and building scalable marketing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement customer journeys in Journey Builder and Automation Studio, enabling multi-channel engagement through email, SMS, and push notifications.
• Connect and integrate external databases and APIs into Salesforce Data Cloud, ensuring unified customer profiles and reliable data pipelines.
• Build and maintain data ingestion flows, data models, and calculated insights within Data Cloud to power segmentation and personalization.
• Write and optimize AMPscript, SQL, and SSJS to support dynamic content, audience targeting, and automation.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate marketing requirements into scalable technical solutions using Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud.
• Establish and enforce coding, deployment, and data governance standards across Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud development.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for journeys, data integrations, and automation processes.
• Mentor junior Salesforce developers, promoting best practices in journey development and data connectivity.
• Stay current with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud releases, features, and best practices to continuously improve solutions.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud development experience.
• Active Salesforce certifications (e.g., Marketing Cloud Developer, Marketing Cloud Consultant, Data Cloud Consultant).
• Proven ability to create and optimize customer journeys using Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Mobile Studio).
• Strong proficiency in SQL, AMPscript, SSJS, and API integrations.
• Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, including data ingestion, modeling, identity resolution, and calculated insights.
• Solid understanding of data-driven marketing, personalization, and segmentation strategies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred

• Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools (Salesforce DX, Copado, Gearset).

Position 2:

DODD is a dynamic and forward-thinking organization dedicated to serving the citizens of Ohio. We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Enterprise Architect 2 to join our Information Technology Services team. This role will play a crucial part in transforming our technology and business landscape by working across the organization to define, architect, and lead the implementation of a consolidated application platform using Salesforce and MuleSoft solutions to enhance the services we provide to our business, county boards, providers, and the community.

Job Summary:

As a Senior Enterprise Architect 2, you will be responsible for driving the design, development, and implementation of new solutions as we move forward to meet the State of Ohio's business needs. This role requires a deep understanding of both Salesforce and MuleSoft platforms, exceptional technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with across the business and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Salesforce and MuleSoft Expertise:

• Serve as the subject matter expert for the Salesforce platform, staying updated on the latest features, best practices, and industry trends.

• Serve as the integration expert utilizing the MuleSoft platform, understand API architecture, best practices, and expertise.

• Lead the development and maintenance of the overall technical architecture for new development utilizing the Salesforce and MuleSoft platforms.

• Design scalable and efficient solutions that align with business requirements and long-term strategic goals.

2. Solution Design and Development:

• Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts, developers, project managers, and development managers, to gather and analyze requirements.

• Create detailed technical specifications, architectural diagrams, and solution documentation.

• Oversee the development and implementation of application and systems architecture utilizing Salesforce and MuleSoft solutions, ensuring code quality, scalability, and security.

3. Integration and Data Management:

• Architect and implement robust integrations between Salesforce, MuleSoft, SQL Server, and other systems within the organization.

• Architect data migration solutions from SQL Server to our state data lake, including transformation and governance strategies.

• Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations.

4. Performance Optimization:

• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization and enhancements.

• Implement best practices to maintain and improve system performance, stability, and reliability.

5. Leadership and Coaching:

• Mentor other members of the architecture team, fostering skill development and growth.

• Guide technical leads from other teams on best practices and industry trends.

• Provide technical leadership and serve as a trusted advisor to senior management.
