Job Title: Application Security Engineer

Location: Marlboro, MA (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY!)

Rate: $60 /hr. on C2C        

 

JD: 

Ideal candidate should have experience with:

Secure SDLC: Integrate security practices into every phase of the software development lifecycle, from design to deployment and maintenance.

Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses and potential security risks in applications and systems.

Threat Analysis & Intelligence: Stay updated on the latest cyber threats and vulnerabilities, analyze threat intelligence reports, and develop proactive solutions to counter emerging risks.

Security Implementation: Design, build, and maintain security systems and controls, including firewalls and encryption, to protect digital assets.

Incident Response: Investigate and respond to security incidents and data breaches, performing root-cause analysis to understand the impact and develop containment and remediation strategies.

Policy & Compliance: Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.

Security Awareness & Training: Create and deliver training programs to educate employees and users on proper security protocols and help them identify security threats.

Collaboration & Reporting: Collaborate with development teams, IT administrators, and other stakeholders to implement security measures and provide reports evaluating the effectiveness of security policies.

Risk Management: Identify and assess security risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them, thereby reducing the organization's overall security risk.
