Job Summary:

• We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Backend Developer with strong production support experience to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in backend development using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and RESTful APIs, along with a solid background in troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintaining large-scale production systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Provide L3 production support, including incident analysis, root cause investigation, and resolution of critical production issues.
• Monitor application performance, perform log analysis, and ensure system reliability and uptime.
• Collaborate closely with QA, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality releases.
• Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and contribute to automation of deployment processes.
• Optimize existing services for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Work in an Agile environment and contribute to sprint planning and execution.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of professional experience in backend development using Java/J2EE.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and RESTful API development.
• Hands-on experience with production support and application monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or New Relic).
• Experience with RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
• Proficiency in multi-threading, performance tuning, and memory management in Java applications.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven, Gradle).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex production issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Exposure to message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Experience in financial services or other large-scale enterprise environments.

 

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
