Job Title:  Senior SD-WAN Network Engineer

Location:  Plano, TX - hybrid onsite (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY!)

Rate: $52 /hr. on C2C        

 

JD:

-        Senior-level networking professional specializing in supporting and maintaining complex Wide Area Networks (WANs) using Software-Defined WAN (SD-WAN) technology

-        Troubleshooting and Resolving Complex Issues

-        Diagnosing and resolving intricate network problems, often acting as an escalation point for lower-level support teams (L1L2).

-        Optimizing Network Performance

-        Continuously monitoring network performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to improve speed, reliability, and efficiency.

-        Ensuring Network Security

-        Implementing and maintaining security policies, firewalls, VPNs, and other security measures to protect the SD-WAN environment from threats.

-        Expertise in SD-WAN Technologies

-        Strong understanding of SD-WAN concepts, architectures, and various vendor solutions (e.g., VMware VeloCloud, Cisco Viptela, Silver Peak).

-        Proficiency in Networking Protocols

-        Solid knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), switching technologies (VLANs, STP, VRF), and VPN technologies (IPsec, DMVPN).

-        Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving Skills

-        Exceptional ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues, utilizing various diagnostic tools and techniques
