Job Title: Web Tech Lead (AI Debugging & Incident Handling)

Location: Mountain View, CA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

 

About the Role

We are seeking a Web Tech Lead to drive the design, development, and reliability of high-performance web applications. This role requires a unique mix of technical leadership, AI-driven debugging expertise, and incident handling experience. You'll lead a team of engineers, adopt cutting-edge AI/automation tools to accelerate troubleshooting, and establish strong incident response practices for production systems.

 

Responsibilities

Lead a team of engineers building scalable, secure, and reliable web applications.

Drive debugging using AI-powered tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Sentry, Datadog, CodeScene).

Own incident handling & on-call processes: detection, triage, RCA, resolution, post-mortems.

Collaborate with product, DevOps, and architecture teams to define system improvements.

Ensure high availability and performance through monitoring, alerting, and observability.

Provide technical mentorship, enforce coding standards, and review designs.

Balance hands-on coding (when needed) with technical leadership.

Contribute to architectural decisions for microservices, APIs, and cloud-native apps.

 

Required Skills

7+ years in full-stack web development with strong hands-on coding.

2+ years in a tech lead / team lead / architect role.

Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Angular/Vue, Node.js.

Strong backend experience with Java, Python, or Go.

Proven expertise in incident response, on-call rotations, and RCA.

Experience with AI/automation debugging tools (Sentry, Copilot, Moveworks, Dynatrace, etc.).

Familiarity with cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure), CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes.

Excellent communication & leadership skills.

 

Preferred Skills

Experience in SRE practices and observability tools (Datadog, New Relic, Grafana, Splunk).

Knowledge of security best practices in web and cloud development.

Experience with high-scale distributed systems.

Prior exposure to AI-driven monitoring and automation.
