Candidates must have experience with:

 

•                     Terraform Module Developer

·                NOT a user, looking for candidates who are Producers / Enable Terraform modules and tasks.

·                For Example: Writes code to inform Terraform it needs to do a specific task. When a user submits a request for ECS for example – this Developer is the one who setup that process on the backend.

 

•                     Python, AWS native services (EC2, Lambda for serverless, Redshift, etc)

•                     Building and Customizing Terraform Foundation Modules from scratch:

·                Generating mocks

·                Defining policies and rules at organizational level

·                Code reviews

·                Work with testing teams and handle troubleshooting activities (revise code, etc.)

 

•                     Experienced with building Terraform modules for AWS native services libraries (Boto3). 

•                     Customize AWS-hosted Terraform Modules

•                     Set up modules to execute the creation of infrastructure through CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) 

·                BitBucket is code repository

 

•                     Build/write backend code that will invoke the pull and push requests for Terraform templates.

•                     HCL scripting experience

•                     Terraform Enterprise experience is highly preferred – SME Terraform Open-Source (OSS) Platform / Environment Developers is also fine.

·                Preferred Terraform Enterprise Experience Includes:

·                Building, provisioning, deleting, and modifying policies in Terraform

·                Implementing Terraform modules and policies into Enterprise environments.

 

•                     The candidate should have the ability and aptitude to learn Sentinel policy on the job.

•                     A developer who puts in the guardrails for a specific module or task

•                     Set up policies related to each module/task the Module Developer created in Terraform to restrict unnecessary access or authorization of requests by group or user.

•                     Policy development

•                     Backend Developer, AWS – willing to learn Sentinel Policies / have capacity to learn
