Position: Mechanical Engineer – Xray Tubes

Location: Waukesha WI - Onsite

Duration: 11-12+ Months Contract

Introduction:

We are engaged in Design, Development and Manufacturing of High Voltage, High frequency Generators and High Voltage X Ray Tubes which are key components in these Diagnostic Systems. The product range covers Generators and X ray tubes from 40kV to 160kV with, 2kW to 100kW peak power, operating at High switching frequencies employing latest technology in Power Converters and X ray Tubes.

 

Job Description:

•            Experience with solid lubricated bearing design applied in high vacuum/high temp/high G-load applications. 

•            Preferred experience with cageless thermally compensated design.

 

Experience/Background required:

•            Bachelor/master's degree with 5+ years technical experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware and software-based systems.

•            Experience with laboratory tools and building prototype fixtures.

•            Experience with FEA, CFD, Creo

•            Ability to follow complex procedures.

•            Demonstrated time management through multiple priorities and day to day.

•            Primary 1st shift role on site at Milwaukee, Wisconsin, flexibility required to work 2nd shift as needed.

•            Full time 40 hours / week.
