Job Description:

• We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with a strong background in AWS, Spring Boot, Microservices, and SQL. This role is based in Austin, TX, and we are only considering local candidates at this time. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of Java/J2EE development experience and be well-versed in designing scalable, distributed systems in a cloud-native environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy Java-based applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Work with AWS services for cloud-native application development and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Write efficient, clean, and scalable code and maintain high code quality standards.
• Optimize SQL queries and work with relational databases for data-driven features.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting application issues.
• Ensure adherence to software engineering best practices and standards.

 

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and building RESTful Microservices.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, API Gateway).
• Proficient in SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, OOP, and system architecture.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

 

Nice to Have:

• Experience with CI/CD tools and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
