Role name: Technical Lead

Hartford, CT

Duration : Contract

 

Role Description: Development of ThoughtSpot reports

Competencies: Digital : Microservices, ThoughtSpot

Experience (Years):        6-8

Essential Skills:

1) Design and Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop.

2) Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and data and come up with a design that best answers the business questions.

3) Ensure data accuracy and consistency within Tableau Visualizations.

4) Extract, transform and load data from various sources into Tableau for analysis and visualizations.

5) Hands on experience with MicroStrategy tools to implement report and dashboards.

6) Perform data cleansing and validation to ensure data quality and integrity.

7) Analytical thinking capability and deep understanding of advanced tableau functions and features like LODs, Filters, Parameters, Actions, Extensions Etc.

8) Understanding of SQL queries for Data validation and unit testing.

9) Performance tuning for Tableau reports and Dashboards.

10) Understanding of Tableau design best practices and ability to design dashboards adhering to company standards.

11) Good understanding of Tableau server and how it works.

12) Automate and Maintain reports, report schedules, subscriptions/alerts, publishing to tableau server and user administration.

13) Document data sources, data models and Tableau workflows.

 

Desirable Skills:

• Any ETL (Extract, Transform & Load) tool preferably Tableau Prep, DataIKU.

• Idea in self-service BI tool ThoughtSpot.

• Snowflake Knowledge.
