Position: Mainframe Developer

Location: Atlanta, GA (Need Locals Only)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Need USC, H1B & H4 EAD candidates only.

LinkedIn & Passport Number Must for Submission.

Need 10+ years of experience

Note: Must have Experience with modernizing legacy mainframe applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and other relevant technologies.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Optimize application performance and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Mentor and guide junior developers, sharing best practices and technical expertise.
Participate in project planning, estimating effort, and scheduling work.
Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in mainframe development.

Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in mainframe application development.
Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and other mainframe technologies.
Strong understanding of mainframe architecture and data processing.
Experience with Agile methodologies and working in a collaborative team environment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
