Position: Mainframe Developer
Location: Atlanta, GA (Need Locals Only)
Duration: Long Term Contract
Need USC, H1B & H4 EAD candidates only.
LinkedIn & Passport Number Must for Submission.
Need 10+ years of experience
Note: Must have Experience with modernizing legacy mainframe applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and other relevant technologies.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Optimize application performance and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, sharing best practices and technical expertise.
- Participate in project planning, estimating effort, and scheduling work.
- Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in mainframe development.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in mainframe application development.
- Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and other mainframe technologies.
- Strong understanding of mainframe architecture and data processing.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and working in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with modernizing legacy mainframe applications.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Knowledge of additional programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) is a plus.
