Work Mode: 100% onsite in Montgomery, Alabama (No remote work)

Contract Duration: Long-term contract, with potential for renewal each fiscal year
Job Description: A government agency located in Montgomery, AL is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance/Quality Control Analyst to support this transition and work on various projects, including those involving MS Power Apps.
Responsibilities:
- Testing: Conduct manual and automated testing, create test data, document results, and ensure systems meet requirements.
- Performance: Perform volume, load, and stress testing to identify and address system bottlenecks.
- Documentation: Review and develop test plans, scripts, and methodology documentation.
- Collaboration: Work with DHR, vendors, and partner agencies to maintain system integrity and support user testing.
- Customer Service: Provide professional service to DHR employees, agencies, vendors, and the public, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
Required Skills:
- Manual and automated testing
- Performance testing
- Test script development and management
- Test results analysis and reporting
- Requirements analysis and defect management
- Proficiency in MS Office, SQL, and configuration management
- Strong teamwork, collaboration, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Experience coaching others in automated testing tools
Preferred Skills:
- Cypress JS, NVDA, JAWS, Adobe Read Aloud, WAVE, ScreenRec
- MS Team Foundation Server (TFS), MS SQL Server, MS Power Apps, Amazon AWS, Amazon S3
Experience Required:
- 5+ years of experience in manual and automated testing of web applications
- Experience with functional, integration, accessibility, load, stress, performance, and regression testing
- Experience with agile/scrum and waterfall methodologies
- Test management, requirements analysis, and defect reporting
- SQL, automated and performance testing
- Experience with formal configuration management procedures
Preferred Experience:
- Cypress JS, TFS, MS Power Apps, public sector, enterprise-level solutions
Education Required:
- Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field, or
- High School diploma/GED with 8+ years of relevant experience
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Information Technology, or Computer Science
