Role: Senior GCP Devops Engineer
Locations: Remote
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Job Description:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles.
- Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and related services (Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions, etc.).
- Extensive experience with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code (IaC) on GCP.
- Strong understanding of Jenkins for automating CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of cloud architecture, networking, security, and monitoring.
- Proficiency in scripting languages/Markup languages such as Python, Bash, or Yaml/Json.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, Terraform Certification) are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with other CI/CD tools like GitLab CI or CircleCI.
