Job Title: Mainframe Tech Lead Developer

Location: Alpharetta, GA and 100% Onsite role from Day 1. No option for Hybrid/Remote

Job Type: 10 Months Contract

 

Customer: ADP

 

Visa : USC, GC H1, H4 EAD

 

Exp Level: Min 12+ Years.

 

Required:

• Create and implement mainframe applications and systems.
• Enhance and update existing applications to improve performance and functionality. 
• Ensure code quality and adherence to best practices and standards

 

Must Have:

Onshore and Offshore Coordination

 

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in COBOL programming and mainframe development tools.
• Extensive experience with Db2 database design, SQL queries, and performance tuning.
• In-depth knowledge of CICS transaction processing and application development.
• Expertise in JCL for batch job management and automation.
• Strong understanding of VSAM file organization and management.

 

Job Summary: As a Mainframe Technical Lead Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining mainframe applications and systems. You will be responsible for leading a team of developers, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and providing technical guidance on projects involving Db2, CICS, JCL, and VSAM.

Application Development: Design, develop, and enhance mainframe applications using COBOL, Db2, CICS, JCL, and VSAM.

Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., IBM Certified Specialist) are a plus.
