Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator (DBA)

Location : RALEIGH, NC ( onsite )

Job Overview:
The Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and performance tuning of Oracle database systems. This role involves implementing, managing, and supporting Oracle databases to ensure high availability, reliability, and security of corporate data. The DBA will collaborate with other IT professionals, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure the seamless operation of the database environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

-Database Installation and Configuration:
Install and configure Oracle database software on various platforms.
Set up and configure database instances, clusters, and environments as needed.

 

Database Maintenance:

 

 

Perform regular maintenance tasks such as patching, upgrades, and backups.

Monitor database health and ensure optimal performance.

Apply security patches and maintain database security policies.

Performance Tuning and Optimization:

Monitor and analyze database performance.

Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to optimize database performance.

Manage database storage, memory allocation, and other resources.
