Position: Data Platform Architect

Location: Houston TX – Onsite

Duration: Long Term Contract

We are looking for a Hands-on Data Architect with strong Azure experience and NetSuite is going to be a very strong nice to have.

 

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Platform Architect with a deep understanding of the Azure cloud platform to lead the design, development, and implementation of our enterprise data platform. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and business acumen to drive data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing data platforms on the Azure cloud.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Experience with data integration and migration projects.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python programming.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
• Strong understanding of data governance and compliance regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Certifications in Azure data-related technologies.
• Experience in building enterprise scale data platform for the energy sector.
• Experience with NetSuite, eMaint, and Peloton systems.
• Knowledge of cloud-native data platforms and big data technologies.
• Experience with data science and machine learning
