Position: Java/Unix/SQL Backend Developer

Location: Dallas/Richardson (TX) / Salt Lake City, UT (Onsite)

Duration: Contract

Note: Rate $43 will be the max. Please share resumes accordingly. Passport number is mandatory 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Utilize Unix commands and scripting for efficient system operations.
• Write complex SQL queries to support application functionality.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

 

• Proven experience in software development using Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and commands.
• Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
• Ability to work on-site all 5 days a week at the designated client office location.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

 

Preferred Skills:

 

• Experience working in a financial services or banking environment.
• Familiarity with other programming languages and technologies.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
