JOB DESCRIPTION

Develop and execute software test plans to identify software problems and their causes.
Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures.
Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.
Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability.
Document software defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to software developers.
Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content.
Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.
Create or maintain databases of known test defects.
Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
Conduct manual testing for marketing Cloud functionality being developed by our team.
Build and execute test scripts.
Work with our automated regression suite to optimize its use for our specific needs.
Ensure the quality of Salesforce Marketing Cloud communications, including text messages, emails, and push notifications sent to our patients, employees, and physicians.

Skills/Experience:

 

Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills.

Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time.

Basic knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.

Basic knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

Basic knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.

Basic knowledge of computer development software, such as Microsoft Visual Basic, Linux, JavaScript, etc.

Experience in the communication space, particularly with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Understanding of the complexities of QA testing in the communication space, such as varying text message formatting across different carriers and devices.

 

Education:

 

Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.

 

A QA with a background including communications (Email, SMS, Push Notifications) is a must.
