Position: Data/ Business Analyst with Capital Market and Investment Banking experience

Location: New York - Onsite (Only H1B)

Duration: 12+ months

Experience: 10+ years mandatory

 

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Technical Business Analyst capabilities.

• Liaison between Business and Technical areas.

• Review and refine Functions Solution Document.

• Candidate should have good BA skills - worked on either Agile/Waterfall methodology, worked on requirement gathering and understand the entire lifecycle of the project.

• Candidate should have decent capital market knowledge, aware about derivative products.

• Coordinate internal resources and liaise with third parties/vendors to support development, testing, change management and releases, as well as raising and tracking issues.

• Support business teams in the definition of business requirements and translate these into more detailed technical requirements for use by the technology teams where required.

• Help co-ordinate the technical requirements gathering, estimating and planning for single or multiple projects or work streams.

• Support the data and systems analysis activities within the project, identifying the business and technical requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Facilitate the running workshops and data supplier engagement.

• Formalize the results of data and systems analysis into structured documentation and obtain approval from the key stakeholders.

• Form strong business relationships with data suppliers.

Minimum qualifications/skills

• Good Communication

• Experience of working on either Agile/Waterfall

• Good knowledge on capital market, should be aware about derivative products

• Experience of working on Data mining / Data lineage / Data library management etc.

• Good understanding of Financial products

• Understanding of Trade Lifecycle

• Good command over project documents – BRD, FSD, Test documents, RAID etc.

• Investment Banking experience

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in Investment banking would be strongly preferred.

• Experience in data mining/data library is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of financial products used in the financial services sector.

• Knowledge of project management and change management principles.

• Knowledge of MS suite of products including Power point, Share point etc.
