Job Title: Azure AI/ML Engineer

Location: Lincolnshire, IL

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop chatbots using Azure Bot Service, Conversation Language Understanding (CLU), and Cognitive Services.
• Implement Azure Functions to enhance chatbot functionalities.
• Manage version control and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub.
• Oversee Azure App Service and Storage for chatbot hosting and data storage.
• Lead team members in configuring and maintaining the Azure platform.
• Provide regular reports on technical progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with various teams to define user stories and tasks for agile development.
• Act as a liaison between the program and clients to drive the development of new AI concepts.

 

Required Skills:

• 8-10 years of experience in software development.
• 5+ years of experience building chatbots with Azure Bot Framework.
• Proficiency in NodeJS, Python, JavaScript, and web development technologies (HTML, CSS, etc.).
• In-depth knowledge of Azure services and integrations.
• Experience in developing, releasing, and maintaining software solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong teamwork abilities, interpersonal skills, and customer focus.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

 

Desired Skills:

• Experience with agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban).
• Familiarity with Azure OpenAI, SOAP, REST, and JSON technologies.
• Experience working in PaaS/SaaS environments.
• Ability to advise and influence technical decisions.
• Strong organizational skills and understanding of project management lifecycles.
