Required Mainframe Lead-Locals to NJ/NY Only



ROLE-Mainframe Lead

Location – NYC (Hybrid mode of working – 2 to 3 days a week from office)


Skills required:

  • Required a candidate with 8 to 10 years of experience in Mainframe technologies with expertise in Development & Migration projects and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience on Mainframe Cobol, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
  • Knowledge on Compiler Directives.
  • Strong ability to understand the existing mainframe application/programs logics and able to provide technical solutions.
  • Capable of analyzing and resolving the technical issues.
  • The candidate should have very good knowledge about scheduler and python scripts.
  • Good Communication and Technical articulation skills.
  • PostgreSQL is an added advantage.
  • (1.) To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
  • (2.) To ensure process compliance in the assigned module, and participate in technical discussions or review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
  • (3.) To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
  • (4.) To be responsible for providing technical guidance or solutions ;define, advocate, and implement best practices and coding standards for the team.
