ROLE-Mainframe Lead

Location – NYC (Hybrid mode of working – 2 to 3 days a week from office)

Skills required:

Required a candidate with 8 to 10 years of experience in Mainframe technologies with expertise in Development & Migration projects and excellent communication skills.
Experience on Mainframe Cobol, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
Knowledge on Compiler Directives.
Strong ability to understand the existing mainframe application/programs logics and able to provide technical solutions.
Capable of analyzing and resolving the technical issues.
The candidate should have very good knowledge about scheduler and python scripts.
Good Communication and Technical articulation skills.
PostgreSQL is an added advantage.
(1.) To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
(2.) To ensure process compliance in the assigned module, and participate in technical discussions or review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
(3.) To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
(4.) To be responsible for providing technical guidance or solutions ;define, advocate, and implement best practices and coding standards for the team.
