Need Recent Vision Plus experience
Role: Mainframe Vision Plus Developer
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 12+ Months
Note: Candidate needs to work in CST time zone.
Must Have:
1. Development experience on VisionPlus cards platform
2. Strong DB2 skills
3. Experience in IMS and File Manager
4. Understanding of business processes behind Cards sub-systems
5. Good understanding of Vision Plus interfaces and inter-dependencies
6. Knowledge of COBOL, CICS, VSAM, JCL, and DB2 file structure
7. Understanding of MQ Series
8. Knowledge of Sort utility and Easytrieve
9. Exposure to File-Manager, CA7 Scheduler, and Endevor
10. Ability to resolve batch abends and support QA/production batches
Required Skills:
- 6-8 Years Development experience on VisionPlus cards platform is a must.
- Strong DB2 skill a must.
- Experience in IMS, File manager is required.
- Should possess good understanding of business processes behind the Cards sub-systems and the functionalities that it delivers
- Good understanding of Vision Plus interfaces, inter-dependencies of sub-systems and important controlling parameters.
- Should have worked on development & design, SIT, UAT and production support
- Understanding of COBOL, CICS,VSAM,JCL and DB2 file structure must
- Strong DB2 skill
- Ability to understand functional, technical, parameter, environment & interface aspects of the solution
- Understanding of MQ Series
- Knowledge of Sort utility and Easytrieve
- Exposure on File-Manager, CA7 Scheduler and Endevor.
- Ability to resolve batch abends and support QA/production batches in case of abends.
- Communication skills - Articulate and facilitate conversations with delivery team and client
Nice to Have:
- Exposure of Fuel Cards.
- Exposure to Credit Bureau Metro II
- Exposure to Credit Bureau Interface for Experian(ARF format)
- experience in MBS /ASM / CTA Modules
- Exposure to Retails cards
