Job Title: Windows Server Engineer
Duration: 3-6 month long rolling contract. The client will extend as long as the Employee is doing well!
Schedule : MUST be on-site
Location: Westerville, OH

Relocation IS NOT ACCEPTABLE for this role. Qualified candidates MUST already live in the Columbus, OH / Westerville, OH area.

Job Description:

Windows Server Engineer to be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Windows Server and VMware vSphere environments.

Responsibilities:
· Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server and VMware vSphere environments
· Responsible for multiple Windows Server technologies including Hyper-V, and Windows Failover Clustering
· Responsible for VMware vSphere infrastructure including patching
· Manage Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy Object (GPO)
· Design and develop scripts for system administration and configuration management
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Windows server environment, including VMware, server hardware, and operating systems

Qualifications:
· At least 5 years of Windows Server administration/engineering exp
· Extensive experience with Windows Server 2016 and above
· Extensive experience with VMware vSphere 7.0 and above
· Strong experience with Windows Group Policy, Active Directory, Hyper-V, and Windows Failover Clustering
· Experience writing and debugging PowerShell scripts for system administration
· Exceptional analytic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex problems and propose practical solutions
· Proficiency in architecting and deploying infrastructure technology solutions in largescale environments
· Functional knowledge of core networking concepts including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, etc.
