Position: Power BI Developer/Analyst

Location: Benecia CA (Onsite Mon-Fri)

Duration: 6-12 Months

 

Need 10+ years profiles Only.

 

Need USC & GC only.

 

 

Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and translate business needs into effective visualizations.

 

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business users to understand their data requirements and visualization needs.
• Design and develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI. 
• Extract and transform data from various sources to create accurate and efficient data models.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decision-making.
• Create new and Optimize existing Power BI reports and dashboards for performance and accuracy.   
• Stay up to date with industry best practices and new features in Power BI to ensure customer visualizations are Cutting-edge and effective.
• Assist in training team members and end-users on Power BI usage and best practices.

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business analytics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of proven experience in designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
• Strong proficiency in data modelling, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), and Power Query.
• Proficiency in SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into effective visualizations.
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices and principles.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Preferred
• Experience with other BI tools like Tableau, QlikView, or Looker.
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or R for data analysis.
• Microsoft Power BI certification
