Job Responsibilities:

• A demonstrable understanding of the full Software Delivery Lifecycle Has demonstrable experience delivering high availability auto scaling containerized deployments in Azure Kubernetes & Docker experience. Experience owning infrastructure in production, as well as designing and creating build/deploy & monitoring systems. Engage with cross-functional teams in design, development and implementation of enterprise scalable features related to enabling higher developer productivity, environment monitoring and self-healing, and facilitate autonomous delivery teams. In depth understanding of continuous integration, continuous delivery, software configuration management, version control and release management.
• We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with expertise in Azure DevOps, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), Teraform, Canary deployment, Helm, OPA (Open Policy Agent), Istio, Kibana, FluentD, Kayenta, OpenTelemetry, and Azure Monitor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing and managing DevOps practices, automation, and cloud infrastructure, with specific experience in these technologies.

 

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for efficient and automated application deployment.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) and utilize Helm for package management.
• Implement Canary deployment strategies to ensure smooth and controlled rollouts of new features and updates.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline processes and optimize the software delivery lifecycle.
• Implement and configure(Deployment) OPA (Open Policy Agent) for policy-based governance and access control.
• Configure and manage Istio for service mesh functionality, including traffic management, security, and observability.
• Utilize Kibana and FluentD for log aggregation, analysis, and visualization.
• Implement Kayenta/Spinnaker for automated canary analysis and testing.
• Implement and configure OpenTelemetry for observability and monitoring.
• Utilize Azure Monitor for infrastructure and application monitoring and alerting.
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and deployment issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and strategies for ensuring software quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical expertise, and drive DevOps best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies related to DevOps, cloud computing, and containerization.
• Self learner to find what is needed

 

Requirements:

• Strong experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• In-depth knowledge of containerization technologies like AKS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Canary deployment strategies and related tools.
• Experience with package management using Helm.
• Knowledge of install, implement and maintain OPA and integrate with Istio.
• Familiarity with Istio and service mesh concepts.
• Experience with log aggregation and visualization tools like Kibana and FluentD.
• Familiarity with automated canary analysis using Kayenta.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools like OpenTelemetry and Azure Monitor.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Solid understanding of software development practices and agile methodologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Experience in working on highly regulated environment
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Relevant certifications in Azure, Kubernetes, or DevOps.
• Knowledge of security best practices and technologies.
• Previous experience in a similar DevOps role.
