Role: Product Manager BIDW (business intelligence and Data Warehousing)

Location: Dallas, TX (3 Days/Week Onsite)

Duration: Long Term

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

·         Perform as BIDW's primary point of contact for product owners, business sponsors and general TMX leadership

·         Apply the appropriate mix of Agile methodologies, scrum practices and waterfall techniques as determined by the type of request being managed

·         Help development teams by identifying and filling in missing requirements

·         Remove conflicting priorities and obstacles that occur

·         Host cross-department alignment meetings to prioritize a backlog of request items

·         Facilitate communication and effective collaboration between developers and business sponsors

·         Manage requests, by maintain statuses and effort size to ensure that commitments are met and commitments do not exceed available resource bandwidth

Minimum Qualifications

 

·         Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT or relevant industry related experience

·         An understanding of enterprise-wide lending systems and technology, including the data platforms behind those systems

·         Proven ability to articulate project and/or team efforts by business area to all levels of leadership

·         Ability to apply broad, integrated perspective when planning, problem-solving, and assessing impact across functional areas

·         Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

·         Physical demands for this position frequently include: the ability to remain in a stationary position, move about freely inside and occasionally outside of the store, and the operation of mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.

 

Preferred Qualifications

·         Exposure to financial lending services product management

·         An interest in enterprise data platforms, reporting & visualizing data

·         A technical understanding of the difference between dashboards, reports & data integrations between systems
