JOB TITLE: SENIOR HTML 5 DEVELOPER (TECH LEAD) LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH LEADING EXPERIENCE

LOCATION: THIS IS A REMOTE REQUIREMENT. EAST COAST IS HIGHLY PREFERRED AS THE WORK TIMINGS WILL BE IN EST.

DURATION: 6 MONTHS WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 10 YEARS MINIMUM

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior HTML5 Developer with expertise in building streaming apps for smart TV devices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining HTML5-based applications that deliver rich multimedia content to a variety of smart TV platforms.

 

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of HTML5 streaming applications to deliver excellent user experiences on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to build and maintain applications for smart TV platforms.
• Optimize applications for performance and reliability.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in smart TV streaming and HTML5 development.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers.
• Ensure the quality of code and adherence to established development standards.
• Work closely with QA and support teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Mentor and train junior developers to improve their technical skills.

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in HTML5 development.
• Expertise in building streaming apps for smart TV devices. Familiarity with building apps on Vizio, Samsung, and other smart TV platforms is required.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS3, and HTML5.
• Experience with frameworks such as React, Next.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with server-side programming languages such as Node.js.
• Strong understanding of RESTful web services.
• Familiarity with video codecs and streaming protocols.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
