Job Description:

• Position location, Maumee, Ohio – 3 days onsite and 2 days remote
• Telecom Engineer may be required to travel to Customer locations in North America and in Canada
• The Engineer will develop a telecommunication project plan which includes project scope, schedule, and budget.
• The Engineer will ensure all facets of the project are executed and will provide updates on project progress.
• Scope includes creating Voice architecture diagrams using Visio for the voice services solutions.
o The development of the voice architecture will be with the assistance of Dana's Network Architect and Customer's Voice Partner
o Architecture includes SIP design and MS Teams (integration, or pure MS Teams voice)
• Cross-Training will be required with the Customer's Network Team

Network Engineer Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a similar field.
• Previous experience working as a Cisco VoIP network engineer.
• Experience must include In-depth knowledge of VoIP systems and IP Protocols.
• Candidate must have solid project management skills.
• Excellent telecom troubleshooting skills are preferred.
• Must work effectively within a diverse work force including engineers, consultants, and Customer's internal IT Teams.
• Candidate must have strong interpersonal and communications skills to be able to effectively communicate complex issues with peers, supervisors, and managers.

Preferred Certifications
• Cisco Certified Network Associate Voice, CCNA Voice
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Voice Engineer Expert certification
