Role : Network Engineer
This will be a hybrid, 3 days a week onsite. The primary location will be in Vancouver, WA but occasionally they will need to go to Portland, OR (Motgomery Park)
Responsibilities:
Work with Network Team on the set up and configuration of WAN to interconnect remote sites.
The following technologies are involved:
MPLS
Dynamic VPN
SDWAN
Network security (Firewalls, proxies)
Routing protocols: EIGRP, BGP
Switching
Most of the field sites consists of Cisco networking devices.
Documentation of network systems, Visio Drawings, implementation plans, and handoff documentation.
Document activities in progress via weekly status reports, incident reports, logs, etc.
Requirements:
Proven experience working with the technologies involved:
MPLS
Dynamic VPN
SDWAN
Network security (Firewalls, proxies)
Routing protocols: EIGRP, BGP
Switching
Experience in network engineering, and troubleshooting
Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS / NXOS and related technologies
Advanced knowledge of Cisco Firewalls, Cisco Routers and Switches
CCNA required
Good communication skills both spoken and written
Strong Interpersonal Skills.
Familiar with Ticketing tools.
Excellent team player.
