Job Title- Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Remote Role
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
 Visa – USC, GC, GC EAD and H4 EAD
 
Responsibilities:
Client is looking for a talented and passionate Infrastructure Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and make a significant impact on our client's service delivery commitments.
 
Responsibilities:
As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for:

1. Building, monitoring, maintaining, and providing technical support for application platform infrastructure systems. Our robust environment consists of over 20 separate product solutions hosting more than 2000 deployed applications across domestic and international locations.
2. Collaborating with the team to define and develop innovative application platform solutions that effectively meet business requirements.
3. Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity to ensure we meet customer needs and exceed SLA requirements.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

1. Experience in the administration of Java application runtime environments, with a preference for IBM WebSphere and/or IBM WebSphere Liberty. Your expertise should cover administration tasks, not necessarily developing and deploying applications.
2. Proficiency with Unix command line and shell scripting.
3. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and interact with internal customers from various departments.
4. Ability to work both in team settings and independently in a self-directed environment.

To succeed in this role, you should be familiar with the following technologies:
a. IBM WebSphere
b. IBM WebSphere Liberty
c. Linux
d. Apigee
e. MuleSoft
f. BPM
g. SOA
 
The following skills are not required but would be beneficial:

1. Experience with Ansible, enabling automated configuration management.
2. Programming experience in a language like Java or Python, providing additional versatility in your role.
3. Familiarity with Source Code Management tools, streamlining development and deployment processes.
