Job Overview
As a Product Information Management (PIM) Fullstack Development Lead, you will lead development in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, documenting, implementing, enforcing coding standards, testing, deploying and supporting our PIM application. As a member working in an Agile team environment, you will work with solution architects and developers on interpretation/translation of wireframes, creative designs, and business requirements into functional requirements and subsequently into technical deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical planning phases including estimating, documenting, implementing, enforcing coding standards, testing, deploying and supporting our PIM platform.
- Build and deploy cutting-edge features for our PIM platform.
- Build systems integrations between Shopify and our Order Management System.
- Provide technical support or leadership in the development and continual improvement of service.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with business and tech team members.
- Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level and technical aptitude.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of work experience in software design and development, and hands-on experience in building large-scale services/distributed systems.
- Experience in building end to end eCommerce technology solutions (OMS, IMS, WMS, credit card processing, tax engine, digital distribution etc.)
- Strong proficiency in PHP; experience working with PIM Core framework required
- Strong proficiency in modern design patterns and development languages including JavaScript, Typescript, Python, HTML5, CSS3, and Ruby
- Experienced in NodeJS, JavaScript (ES2019+), ESLint and coding standards, Typescript
- Solid grounding with common design patterns and development best practices
- Knowledge of APIs, webhooks, and general data transfer approaches
- Able to define, design, implement complex, and scalable systems
- Ability to identify areas that can be streamlined or automated
- Good team player and communication skills
- Experience with agile development methodologies with Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Experience with Jenkins Setup CI/CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous delivery)
