LOCATION: THIS IS REMOTE CANDIDATE IS EAST COAST IS HIGHLY PREFERRED AS THE WORK TIMINGS WILL BE IN EST.
DURATION: 6 MONTHS WITH POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 10 YEARS MINIMUM
Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer who will lead the development of Android based applications using Kotlin. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing innovative and efficient mobile and CTV applications using the latest technologies. They will also be responsible for leading a team of developers to ensure the timely and successful delivery of high-quality applications.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of Android streaming applications to deliver excellent user experiences on time and within budget.
- Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain mobile & CTV applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to identify user needs and create solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in mobile & CTV development.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Work with backend developers to integrate APIs and other data sources into the application.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the smooth integration of applications with other systems.
- Mentor and train junior developers to improve their technical skills.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience developing consumer applications for Android based platforms
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin and Android development frameworks.
- Experience in developing applications that use RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with video codecs and streaming protocols.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in leading a team of developers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
