Role: WebSphere MQ Admin 
Location: Princeton, NJ (Day 1 onsite)
Job Description:
- Technologies involved 
 - MQ 6, 7, 7.5, 8, 9, 9.2 
 - MQ internal, external, and shared hubs. 
 - IR360
 - Experience with installation, maintenance, and support of WebSphere MQ on distributed platforms
 - Installation of MQ with HA and Clustering using SAN/NAS/NFS storages with load balancing concept
 - Provide MQ administrations support to multiple applications on different platforms in Hybrid Cloud Domain. Should be capable to collaborate with the current Infrastructure & middleware team.
 - Modify/re-design configuration/applications to resolve identified issues.
 - Manage, configure and monitor MQ Listeners, Command Servers, Channel initiators, Trigger Monitors, MQ Log files , RQD & Dead Letter Queues
 - Setup of IBM Websphere MQ in a cluster environment for both load balancing and Failover.
 - IBM Websphere MQ best practices for setup/monitoring as well as usage.
 - Provide impact analysis of newer versions and provide upgrade paths and plan and upgrade servers with the appropriate versions and patches of IBM Websphere MQ
 - Setup security (SSL, TLS, Encryption, Certificates etc.) on the Websphere MQ servers as well as the queues and applications that access Websphere MQ.
 - Strong knowledge to create a message hub(external/internal) with endpoints and policies over MQTT.
 - Should have knowledge on implementing MQ security using OAM and SSL
 - Must be proficient in the writing/editing of UNIX shell scripts.
 - Should have experience of the middleware technologies used along with MQ (for ex. WAS, JBoss etc)
 - Handle Technical Escalations received from (SSL, TLS, Encryption, Certificates etc.)
 - Create SOPs ensuring compliance to Service Level Agreements (SLA) and train internal teams
 - Troubleshoot High Severity incidents & Provide RCA
 - Collaborate with internal customers/leading MQ Series standup/migration projects for internal organizations and handling MQ/Custom client installations
 - Knowledge of various Broker MQ objects such as Queues, Channels, Clustered Queues, etc.
 - Vast knowledge on MQ Clustering, PUB/SUB, Exits, API, and Client access architectures
 - Advantage having knowledge on configuration, troubleshooting, optimization of ActiveMQ, Apache Kafka brokers and RabbitMQ.
 - Should have strong knowledge on MQ Backup and Recovery processes
 - Should have strong knowledge on any of the MQ monitoring product like BMC True sight, Tivoli, IBM  Infrared 360 , etc
 - Participated in MQ Disaster Recovery exercise on various platforms/environments.
 - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with excellent understanding of system development methodologies, techniques and tools
 - Demonstrated initiative to recommend process improvements and demonstrated creative thinking
 - Experience implementing or overseeing the implementation of all MQ objects
 - Strong interpersonal skills, as well as excellent communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences
 - Should have sound knowledge in ITIL processes incident management, change management, problem management and request management etc
 - Ability to guide / mentor other Administrators and troubleshoot issues
 - Providing 24 x 7 supports for all applications to ensure continuous availability.
