Responsible for activities involving the formulation of systems scope and objectives, analyzing and evaluating existing or proposed systems, and devising or modifying procedures to solve end user problems. Conducts feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and investigates the establishment and implementation of new or revised applications systems and programs. Encodes tests and debugs applications programs and procedures. May cover such duties as preparing detailed specifications from which programs can be written; conducting problem analysis and submitting recommendations for a solution; report design and generation. May write some screen interfaces or small executable but typically does not do much coding

Additional Job Details: *Intake call notes* Hire from anywhere, would prefer someone in MST or CST as they will be working MST core hours. 1 round one hour interview with the hiring manager and another Senior BA.

 

Education and Experience:

● Bachelor degree in a Business, Information Systems, Computer Science discipline or equivalent technical work experience required

● Related graduate degree preferred;

● Seasoned professional with a minimum of 12+ years business analysis experience on software development projects and initiatives;

● Experience with requirement elicitation, requirements documentation, and requirements management;

● Experience with agile methodology and practices;

● Business Analyst Certification Mandatory;

● Direct customer interface experience (working with client directly on project tasks; managing client expectations);

● Experience using Microsoft Office tools in a work setting (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio);

● Experience in computer-based testing, certification, and licensing industry preferred;

● Experience with software development of client-server, web-based, data warehousing, reporting, or similar systems;
